The Home Apothecary Workshop

Wellness Community Room holistichealthhaven.org/wellness-community
Organized by Tika Epps

An apothecary can be described as a person who makes medicine, such as a herbalist, pharmacist or chemist. It is also used to refer to places that make, distribute and store medicine, such as a pharmacy, drugstore or warehouse.

Our use of the term home apothecary refers to the kitchen, pantry and storage areas of the home. We understand that food is natural medicine, and that the home is the safest place to make, distribute and store medicine for yourself and your family.

The Home Apothecary workshop will help you understand the benefits of stocking your home with nourishing essentials and how food is used for maintaining good health, managing illnesses and even disinfecting your home!

You will gain insight on the medicinal properties of food and herbs, and understand how to use natural homemade remedies for your everyday health and household needs.

The Home Apothecary workshop is comprised of an online workshop, a guidebook, and support provided by a certified detox therapist and nutrition specialist.

You will also gain access to the Wellness Support Circle, a virtual space to stay connected to a wellness advocate and exchange encouragement with other program participants.

Information provided in this workshop makes it a great prerequisite to the 7-day Cleanse Program.

This is a free online event held in the wellness community room.
